Kristen Wallace, 24, was born and raised in Texas. She is a sister, an aunt, and a mother. After pursuing many different career options, she finally honed in on what her truest passions to write and draw. She started writing poems and drawing pictures at 7-years- old about the poor girl who lived next door. Being that she didn’t have much of anything herself, she felt a strong empathy for the struggle of the little girl next door.
Due to her upbringing, Kristen resonates deeply and feels an obligation to help young people simplify their lives when it seems as if all the odds are stacked against them. She recognizes how useful this support could have been to her as she felt feelings of loneliness, anger, resentment, and worthlessness in her adolescence. Although Kristen is only 24 years old, she has realized that the greatest advice she has received thus far is:
"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become."
~ Carl Jung
Kristen has chosen to accept the cards that were dealt to her and evaluate the moves she made as well as the ones she didn't. Every waking day proves that she is still in the game and has another opportunity to turn her losing hand into a winning hand. Just as she fights to transform her misery into miracles, she is determined to inspire others to alchemize their tribulations into sensational tranquility.
